Who are we?
We are a non-profit organisation. We are commissioned by local authorities, both health and social care organisations.
We are able to function effectively because we have a team of dedicated volunteers, many from professional backgrounds whom we train to provide high-quality advocacy to those accessing our support.
We operate from our office in central Harrogate, and we are a member of North Yorkshire Advocacy
What do we do?
We help men and women to manage the difficult issues of life when they are feeling vulnerable. This might be when accessing health care, or financial institutions, or dealing with social care. It may be that you just don't know how to access the services you need and we can act as a signpost to help you.
If you, or an adult you know, perhaps with a limiting physical condition, or suffering from poor mental health; feeling vulnerable perhaps through age, physical or mental impairment or just the pressure of circumstances, we may be able to help. Get in touch.
